THE LAST POST OF THE COURSE Hello friends; We have come to the end of the term.You know I have created this blog for Instructional Technology and Material Design Course and you remember my teaching philosophy statement which shapes my teaching way.It is a quotation from Albert Einstein. I encountered with this statement at the beginning of the term and I think that it reflects my thoughts for education .During the course period,we have learned a lot of things about technology using in education especially in language learning.We have used different websites and tools all of which serve another aim for education.Generally these tools and websites are interesting for students so they motivate them to use technology.However,to create an outcome using these tools requires imagination.In every stages of the course period,I have used my imagination for example you can see it here evidently.It has made me surprised too much to see that I have created new things such as digital story...

MY RSS FEEDER EXPERİENCE I have heard about it before but I have not used it.It is a software which allows you to follow many blogs:RSS FEEDER. RSS is acronym for Really Simple Syndication.If you are following many blogs,instead of controlling them every day whether they have been  updated or not,you can set up RSS Feeder and it checks them for you and displays the new notifications. I follow some blogs about cooking,travelling,comedy,education and teaching English.After setting up RSS Feeder,I have realized that I have not long entered most of the sites which I follow also some of them have not been updated for a long time so RSS gives you opportunity to make analysis like these  on the websites you follow. DIGITAL STORYTELLING IN EDUCATION Digital storytelling is a new type of story telling using digital tools.Since we can use digital storytelling as a learning and teaching tool,we have learned to make a digital story in Instructional Tech. and Material Design Course. Firstly,we were instructed about digital story telling,elements of digital storytelling,kinds of stories and learning power of DS.Also we have examined some examples to have an idea about digital stories. Secondly,we were given three project options to create a digital storytelling  and asked to work as groups in two.In this project,I have worked with   E.Billur Hacıoğlu. CREATING AN ONLINE POSTER Hello everyone; This week's assignment is CREATING AN ONLINE POSTER.Frankly I can say that this is one of the most enjoyable works during the period.We are asked to prepare an online movie poster based on a book we read and imagine that our books were being into the movie and we are responsible for their advertising. I have chosen ''Hiroshima''  written by John Hersey as the book.There has never been a movie based on this book.It really made me surprised because the book has got a very suitable plot for a movie.Also,it tells about the most devastating event the world has ever known.It is the story of the real people.I think we need awareness about this tragedy as the people of today's world and a movie can transmit it to the next generations.I hope that a director or producer hears my suggestion ;).
